This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having these wobble stools in the classroom will allow me to provide and alternative seating option to traditional chairs. Pre-K students are very young and active who "wiggle" all day long. I have seen the impact flexible seating in the classroom does for the students. I want to provide my students the opportunity to be successful in school and that includes avoiding traditional seating and using wobble stools.
These wobble stools will allow the students to sit and have movement while still being able to focus on their activity.
Wobble stools are a safe way to have movement for students who need to fidget by having the option to rock back and forth. Having the non-slip material at the bottom will also support our custodians by not damaging the floors.
