This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is full of busy, wiggly, energetic and silly friends who are eager and excited to learn, but could use some supports. I teach a first and second grade special education class. All of my students require significant supports to help meet their needs. Flexible seating is a proven way to help support my unique students and make their time at school meaningful and fun! I am trying to increase my students engagement and supporting their sensory needs by filling my classroom with unique seating options. These options will allow them to wiggle, wobble, spin, relax, and learn!
