My students need wobble cushions and stools to use for flexible seating. These cushions and stools will give my students an opportunity to release energy and help them maintain focus on learning activities.
I teach kindergarten at a Title I school in a small East Texas town. My students love to learn through hands-on, active, and engaging activities. My students enjoy learning with movement, music, and manipulatives each day.

They come to school each day excited and ready to learn. I am blessed to work with such a precious group of children. I cherish every day with my students and enjoy seeing them grow so much during the year!
My Project
The wiggle cushions will help meet my kindergarteners sensory needs. They allow them to wiggle while they work and make sitting on the floor or in a chair a lot more comfortable!
The wobble stools will give my students an opportunity to release energy during learning activities.
The base of the wobble stool is rounded, allowing the kids to wiggle and fidget to their heart's content!
Having a variety of seating options for my students help to meet their unique needs. Continuous movement while sitting relaxes the right side of the brain, leading to better focus. This project will allow my students move around without distracting other students.
