My Students
My students are resilient, intelligent, and awe-inspiring. They make me want to be a better educator every day of this crazy virtual learning life. My "Zoom room" is a safe, supportive, and educational environment that pushes students to be the very best version of themselves.
My Project
With a new middle school curriculum, it's safe to say my colleagues and I have been working around the clock. We're creating new PowerPoints, working out any lesson kinks, and finding the perfect way to present new material, to name a few. It's taxing, both psychologically and physically.
Due to this, I've been trying to make my virtual teaching desk space as ergonomically "sound" as possible.
Between setting posture reminders and a family friend's antique wireless mouse donation, I've been getting by. My small monitor, however, is making the biggest impact on both my eyes and my planning threshold.
