My Project
Each year my EL students take a standardized test called the WIDA to evaluation their English skills. It is a very difficult and LONG test that takes several weeks.
I would love to help motivate and get my students excited to take this test this year.
One way I have thought about doing this is through a special theme day. This year we have chosen a theme of "WIDA Language Heroes". This project will allow each of the students to receive a superhero mask and cape to show off their language super power and being multilingual. This is such a fun way to get them all excited to show off their English skills on their upcoming WIDA test. We would love your help getting our students excited for this assessment.
