Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By attending the WIDA Annual Conference virtually, I will engage in high-quality professional development focused on supporting multilingual learners.
Through interactive online sessions and access to expert-led presentations, I will deepen my understanding of effective language development strategies that I can immediately apply in my work.
The flexibility of virtual learning will allow me to revisit key sessions, take detailed notes, and share valuable takeaways with my colleagues. My students will benefit from enhanced instructional strategies, targeted scaffolds, and a stronger focus on language equity, ensuring that every learner has the tools they need to succeed.
