Help me give my students new and exciting math stations for the rest of our year with addition/subtraction flip books, a classroom magnetic numbers & operations kit, and pattern block activity cards!
I've had the amazing opportunity to welcome a kind, diverse group of scholars to my classroom - and for many of them, this is their first experience with the school environment at all.
My school serves some of the highest need students in our area, and I want to set a foundation for academic success.
My students bring a variety of languages, cultures, and backgrounds to our classroom, and many of them are still learning how to be ready to learn at school. However, each and every child has such a great potential to learn, and we have high academic expectations for our kindergarten scholars!
My Project
We love math time in our classroom! My students love having interactive math stations to keep them engaged and learning. I like to change out our math stations frequently so my students don't lose interest in them. My students absolutely love math games and puzzles, as I am having to create a lot of these games and activities on my own.
With so many standards and exciting things to make sure that we are learning, we need enough materials and station activities to keep our brains going!
Having an addition center, shaping sorting, number tracing and new math puzzles, this would allow us to have new and exciting differentiated stations. These activities would allow us to have even more options during our free choice math stations.
