My Project
Trying to engage students can be difficult, especially when they think that what they are learning doesn't apply to their lives. After reading Why Superman Doesn't Take Over the World by J. Brian O'Roark, I discovered that superheroes were a perfect medium to introduce and reinforce economic concepts.
Students today are heavily exposed to comic book mythology, so this creative outlet would allow them to see how economics can apply to something they are familiar with.
The end goal being a deeper understanding of economics and using the book to reach all levels of learners.
