This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
To fund initiatives that promote collaboration, engagement, and a sense of belonging for scholars in our community. The team would like to use some funds to host multicultural nights, family game nights, or talent shows that celebrate the ranges of cultures of our school community. Additionally, we would like to use funds from the gift card award to fund school dances in our community to promote student social emotional wellbeing. Lastly, we would like to support our clubs and sports teams with items such as uniforms, equipment, sports gear and supplies.
