My Students
Our students deserve access to technology that can deliver engaging, stimulating, and challenging curriculum. Teachers need to have access to the resources that our students will be using throughout their educational careers. Technology is a valuable resource when used to stimulate student learning.
One of the great things about the middle school I work at is that we have a very diverse student body.
My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. They bring a variety of experiences, cultures, and opinions with them to the classroom. They are excited about learning. They love to explore the past. They aren't afraid to challenge one and other. They are caring considerate classmates. The middle school I work at is filled with caring, committed, strong teachers. The culture of the school is very positive, academically focused, and high performing.
My Project
With the donation of new technology (Laptop, Computer Speakers, and Flash Drive) I will be able to develop and deliver engaging, stimulating, and challenging curriculum for my students. I will be able to make my lessons easier to access for my students by incorporating a wider variety of visuals. Students will certainly benefit by being exposed to a wide variety of resources with increase use of technology. Students will have access to power-points, the Internet, web based research, videos, photos, and a wide variety of primary and secondary sources. Students will be able to better connect with the curriculum, and have greater academic success.
Technology is a tool that our students deserve.
They deserve to be taught the right way to research topics through the Internet. They deserve to be presented the most engaging and challenging curriculum that a teacher can deliver. By donating technology to my class you will be giving my students more opportunities to learn and succeed.
