My Students

My students love to be able to share what they have done and learned. They also love to see themselves and their accomplishments. Do you ever wish you could save a memory, or keep a photo of a discovery? So do my students!

Our school is one of the oldest elementary schools in our district.

The students are passionate about many different topics, and we have a very supportive community. The student population is diverse and benefits from being a school close to the city's downtown area as well as the local university.

My Project

Our class would really like a color printer and ink. We will use it for many projects and purposes. Just this week the students built real working robots. Unfortunately, they will have to take them apart soon so we can save the parts for another year. They want to have photos of their accomplishments. Being able to print photos will allow us to use the photos the students have taken, to add to their research projects, and share information with others. Some of our upcoming projects are related to writing fables, and publishing them. Later we will study seed dispersal and pollination. We will be able to use color printing for both of these projects. It would allow our budding authors to make great printed copies of their stories, print photos of various types of seeds they study, and more! Of course it will also help me to develop and print engaging learning games for my students too!

All of our students will be able to use the printed materials and be a part of each project.

Since this printer is something that should last a while, it will benefit students for years to come. Color photos really do help the students in their research, science projects, and even in their pride in their writing and illustrations they create on the computers and tablets.
