In my classroom I have 19, 4-5 year old students. Some who have been in daycare their whole lives and some who have had no contact with the outside world (thanks covid!) Either way these little people are trying to figure out how to handle their emotions and regulate. I have created a safe space within my classroom and would love to add these items to our sensory tent.
The two weighted blankets will be used to help students regulate and calm down inside our sensory tent.
I picked two sensory blankets so I am able to keep one clean at all times incase of emergencies. The weighted dog will help students who don't like things on them but they can still snuggle and set him on their lap.
