My Project
We all know that students grow as readers by reading every single day. However, our classroom is in need of books for our classroom libraries. My students need to read books that interest them and are on their independent level. The majority of our classroom library is made up of fictional texts, so we are trying to grow our library with informational text. Many of these informational books are directly related to our science and social studies as well.
It is important for my students to have a variety of nonfiction texts that they actually WANT to read for them to grow as readers and learners!
