My Project

Stories help us span the eons and travel the world. Through the words of others, we can empathize with our fellow humans and see experiences through another's eyes. They bring us closer together as we share the good times and the bad with friends we meet in the pages of books.

By adding new stories told from different perspectives, I hope to give my young writers a wealth of inspiration that will, in turn, create the next generation of story tellers.

Today's young people need to see characters who look like them written by people who look like them. I cannot wait to see the positive impact of these books from a wide variety of voices will have on my middle school Creative Writers for next year and for years to come.
