My kindergarten students are active, busy, and growing children who need fun school supplies and materials to read, write, and be creative learners.
They come from diverse backgrounds with many different needs and learning styles.
When they come together to play and learn in our classroom it is important that they have a wide variety of materials to express their own individual personalities. My students are very energetic about learning and when they can make projects that represent themselves, they feel more confident in their work. With the proper materials and supplies needed to help them achieve new goals at school I know they will feel confident and extra excited to create projects in our class!
My Project
The items I have chosen will be great tools and materials to help my students make steps towards reading. Especially the LeapFrog tablets, word building puzzles, and cvc games! I also picked some art materials that my students have requested such as multicultural paint and thick, cardstock paper. They love expressing themselves in their artwork. One last surprise, I chose for them was a set of multicultural baby dolls. Not only will they use them during our dramatic play center, but also as a book buddy to read too!
I am very excited and eager to see the impact these materials will make on my students' learning and how much joy it will bring them.
Some things are replacing old, very loved items and some items will occupy a new spot in our classroom. Nonetheless, I know my students' will be overjoyed to get their hands on new materials and get busy learning!
