Help me give my students a school grocery store so they have the energy to succeed inside and outside of school!

My Project

I am a teacher that will do anything for my students. I will get them materials for school if they need them. I will get them resources for the classroom to make the lessons more exciting. Now, I am trying to stock a grocery store in my classroom space to ensure my students will not go hungry when they leave school for the weekend. Some say a school cannot be everything for its students, but I say, Why Not? I will work with my guidance department to ensure those who need food security the most will be the ones utilizing this resource. I saw a news article about a school grocery store in Texas a few years ago. If they can do it, then so can Monessen Middle/High School!
