My Project
I chose to focus on getting our students to enjoy books again. Books are for reading but they are also made for exploring. I chose all types of books from fiction to nonfiction, sad, happy, ABC's and 123's. This variety of books is going to be something my students will enjoy. Reading to young children is an important way to help them build language skills. It exposes them to new words and ways of using language. It also helps them learn general information about the world, which makes it easier for them to learn about new subjects once they get to school.
