This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school has five hundred and seventy-nine students and is a Title I school!
My kindergartners are full of energy, ready to play and learn!
My students are always eager to want to know and learn more! They ask many questions, they talk a lot, they are curious and like to discover! We are going to learn many things! We will work on our manners, social skills, fine and gross motor skills, academics, and tons more!
Most of our students are English language learners and the majority of our students qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch program.
My Project
Please help me obtain two erasable whiteboards for my kindergartners!
Word Walls are extremely helpful for learning new vocabulary but I want to create a math word wall to help my kindergartners to understand and learn math vocabulary and concepts!
The two erasable whiteboards would be put at their eye sight level and where they could reach it and interact with it to help them learn, remember, use in conversation, and use when solving math problems. I want them to have a place where they know where to find math words to help my kindergartners learn!
