My Project
My students come from a diverse background with over 60 languages spoken and from over 100 different countries around the world. This provides a unique opportunity for student voices to be heard and perspectives to be shared. The use of large whiteboards along the walls of the classroom allow for students an active space to create anchor charts and learning materials that allow them to share their experiences, voices and ideas. The rest of the supplies, markers, erasers, cleaner and organizers are to allow for routines to be created and materials consumed within the classroom space so the whiteboards can be utilized to their full potential.
