Help me give my students a whiteboard easel to learn math. Our classroom has a limited whiteboard space and by adding more to it we can spread our wings in more places to explore math on whiteboards.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom has a limited whiteboard space. My students are eager to stand around a non-permanent and low-stake space to discuss math and stabilize their understanding of complicated math concepts.
Your donation will add much needed whiteboard space to our room which then will bring more life to abstract math concepts.
Students will get to solve problems on ample whiteboard space, discuss their strategies, erase what's wrong easily, and make mistakes without the fear of having it permanently displayed.
I plan on incorporating more numerical and financial literacy problems and projects (such as using percentages in real life) to make my students more excited about math and increase their literacy in using numbers.
