My Project
I work with special education students in a high needs school in a community that is of low socioeconomic status. Many families cannot afford supplies that their children need in order to grow as learners and work on tasks in class.
The markers and toners are amazing tools that provide my students with interactive and creative learning.
As a large number of students have special education services, visual tools are critical for them. The whiteboards are often used to drill phonics skills and to draw visuals in order to solve number equations and word problems. As the markers are used frequently, they dry out quickly and replacing them is quite expensive.
Printer toners are a costly expense; especially when you have a laser printer that also prints in color. My printer was funded thanks to kind and generous donors like yourselves and it has been a difference maker for my students as well as me professionally. As I have been funded before, I truly appreciate your kindness and look forward to returning it.
