This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a third-grade math teacher at a Title 1 school, entering my second year here. During my first year, my students used old, overused whiteboards—many of which were stained and worn—because replacing them was too costly. This year, I hope to provide my students with new, clean whiteboards that will motivate them to engage more actively in their learning and build fluency in their math skills. These materials will also be incredibly helpful during small group instruction and intervention time. I would be so grateful for your support in helping me reach this goal.
