This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am fortunate enough to have a special education classroom filled with wonderful students. My students are kind, hard working and intelligent despite their disabilities. All students within my special education classroom are English Language Learners.
I would love the opportunity to have flexible seating in my classroom.
Many children with special needs struggle greatly with sitting in confined desks. Allowing students to move around the room more freely, and feel more comfortable will increase their learning, and comprehension. Please help us create a classroom that feels like home!
My Project
All of the students within my classroom have special needs. It is very difficult for many of them to sit in a confined desk, and stay focused. This whiteboard table will provide my students with another location to sit within the classroom. It will also allow students to write on the table during activities such as math games rather than wasting paper. The students in my class love small white boards so I know they will be so excited about a huge whiteboard table. Please help me make my classroom more comfortable, and engaging for my student with special needs!
