Help me give my students a whiteboard that will help them visually see lessons come to life and be able to practice together as a whole group and share what they are learning.
I've noticed since I began teaching how important a large whiteboard can be to help in a variety of ways. We have small whiteboards in the classroom that help with individualized learning, however, we need something larger for whole-group instruction. This gives the opportunity, not only for the students to come up and share, but it is also economical. We were using many large Post-It Pads, but it is just too expensive to use those several times a day. The large whiteboard will be used daily across all subject areas.
As students on the autism spectrum, they are visual learners.
They are motivated, especially when it comes to sharing their learning. The whiteboard will allow them to do this several times a day.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
