Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In the coming school year, my students will be learning from home part of the time if not all of the time. This has been challenging with the smallest learners, but they have shown resilience, perseverance, and determination! I want to prepare them as best I can for a successful educational experience.
My Project
My students frequently use whiteboards for practice throughout the day, whether in the classroom or at home doing distance learning. We use them for everything from working out a math problem to practicing letter formation or writing a sentence.
Whiteboards are a fun and engaging way to incorporate writing practice into any activity—it's like magic!
I would love to provide every student with their own whiteboard to ensure safety. They would keep their whiteboards in the book bags along with a marker and eraser so that they would have their materials ready to go for daily practice. The materials can be kept in the classroom if we are there or taken home for distance learning to keep our routines consistent between home and the classroom.
