This is my second year in first grade, and I have worked extremely hard to create a successful learning environment for my students. As I've been working in my classroom to get everything set up for my first graders, I've realized that I desperately need a new whiteboard. A magnetic board would allow me to hang necessary posters and anchor charts for our daily lessons and learning. I would love to have more space for writing and modeling work for my students. This will greatly impact the amount that I can show what the expectations are as I am writing sentences. This will give me space to adequately show them how to do a correct journal entry as well as write a complete sentence.
I would like to get a new magnetic whiteboard to replace the bowed and damaged shower board in my classroom.
I don't feel like I can adequately teach with my current board because it is so damaged. A new whiteboard would be vital in helping me teach my first graders and enrich their learning experience.
