My Project
In advanced placement calculus, we need a lot of board space. Unfortunately, my classroom whiteboard is blocked by a wall so students cannot see it. We need space for basic instruction and also so students can present their work. Calculus is an important subject for students looking to go on to college next year. It is also a primary foundation of financial literacy. The content is important not only for STEAM fields, but also relevant to art, music, social sciences, journalism, and other fields. The class helps student develop their critical thinking skills. Without ample whiteboard space, the students won't be able to learn the material they need to pass the advanced placement exam.
