it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The whiteboard easel and calendar my classroom needs will make a significant difference in my students’ learning by giving them hands-on tools to practice math fluency and apply their skills in meaningful ways. The whiteboard easel will provide a dedicated space for students to engage in math fluency practice, solving problems collaboratively or independently during lessons. The calendar will allow students to track daily data, such as completed homework assignments, while also exploring patterns and real-life applications like estimating how many days are left until winter break.
My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and routine practice.
The calendar will also serve as a visual tool for posting the Problem of the Day, helping students develop problem-solving strategies right as they enter the classroom. These resources will foster engagement and help students build confidence in their math skills.
