This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year, I am teaching a wonderful group of 27 fourth graders. They are sweet and kind, and they love coming to school to see their friends and learn more each and every day. My school campus is a very positive and upbeat place where everyone works as a team and where the students are the heart of all of our decisions. All of the staff is happy to come to work to see the students learn and grow on a daily basis. I could not ask to teach at a better campus!

My Project

I have been teaching for 14 years, and my students' whiteboards were on their last straws this past school year.

My students need dry erase boards, dry erase markers, and Mr. Clean magic erasers to use with their whiteboards.

I had to pitch the ones that I had for 14 years, and it is now time for a new set. My students use dry erase boards on an almost daily basis for a variety of things such as solving math problems, practicing cursive handwriting, and more. Not only do dry erase boards keep my students actively engaged in a lesson and during stations, but they are also a good assessment tool for me to use as a teacher.
