This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Insulated water bottles will help keep our students hydrated and prevent heat strokes during practice and games. Our players are from humble homes, live in a city with a high poverty rate and insulated water bottles are not within their budget means.
Our tennis team is comprised of girls and boys who play team tennis in the fall and individual tennis in the spring.
Our tennis team earned the bi-district championship 3 years ago. It is our goal to bring home another championship this year.
The heat in South Texas has been at a record high. This donation will help our team stay active and safe.
