Where Words Fail, Music Speaks- Hans Christian Andersen
Help me give my students rhythm sticks so they can engage in music instruction.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting rhythm sticks, activity books, and teacher guides in order to provide music instruction. Some of my students attend orchestra once a week. If I do not teach music in the classroom not all students will have benefited from a musical instructional experience. This would be a disservice to my students.
Music is known to nurture the mind and body.
Rhythm sticks are a fun and inexpensive way to teach music. I would like to teach my students to play a song with the rhythm sticks, record it, and then upload it to our communication platform for parents to see their child perform.
My students are enthusiastic, curious, confident, and respectful learners.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
