This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been working with Kindergarteners with Attention deficit hyperactivity that can't sit in their seat for a long period of time. I have found it very helpful to have them come to the carpet for different activities such as Read aloud, playing games on the board and showing the kids we are a family, so we sit together to have circle time. They love coming to the carpet gives them time to interact with their peers. It's more helpful for them to sit comfortable on the nice carpet to enjoy the different activities rather than sitting on a chair.
