My Project

These materials will help students of different ages learn about the world and the different countries in it.

When teaching social studies and geography I will be able to teach students not only when something happened but where.

We live in a world where we worry about complex ideas and higher order learning but we often forget to teach / reenforce the basics.

Its hard to learn about world WWII when student don't know where France and Japan are located.

My students are special because they don't often have the opportunities to travel. This limits their knowledge of geography in the United States and the world. This impacts their ability to learn. For example, if you are reading a news article about the Russian and Ukraine conflict or the different current issues happening in the Middle East, how much of the article are you actually able to understand if you have no idea where these places are.
