My students need 20 copies each of the Webster economy dictionary and thesaurus, Verb Tense and parts of speech BINGO, the What is Grammar book set, the Language Adventures Game Show, and the Speed Grammar games.

This project is fully funded

I teach 50 MAGNIFICANT 5th graders at a title one, high-needs school in Georgia. My students have reading, grammar, and math deficits. I teach Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies to these students.

My students come to school everyday because they "have to come to school". Many of my students do not want to be there. I have found out through trial and error that they tend to like school better and participate more when they are engaged in a game, or activity that ties into the lesson. My students seem to work better as a team if they are challenged to interact with other students and complete an assignment. I am all about hands-on, interactive, informative lessons. I want my students to love to learn & come to school each day.

I have requested a few materials that will assist them with their grammar skills. My students often say "Where is my book at?" and I tell them about prepositions and how they are used. The title of my proposal comes from my students. I want to teach them grammar not only for the state test, but later in life. My goal for my students is to reach ultimate success inside and outside of the classroom.

The materials I have requested will help my students to learn proper grammar for school and beyond. My students will be given the opportunity to flourish and grow! I am so proud to be their teacher and to impact the lives of these impressionable youngsters. Please hep our classroom by assisting us in this project!
