My Students
The students that I work with in the cross country and track & field programs at BHS are some of the hardest working student-athletes that I have worked with throughout the years. Not only do they work hard on the athletic field, but they also put in the work in the classroom.
My student-athletes do everything they can to be successful on the athletic field and in the classroom and I would like to give them some new tools to help increase that success.
My Project
Throughout the cross country and track & field seasons, we do a number of runs and workouts that we need our athletes to know their time or pace. Many of our student-athletes do not have watches available to use during practice to make this happen.
Having our own set of watches gives our runners the ability to track their progress while running and working out to see how they are improving throughout the year on their runs and various exercises.
We are also on the move a lot with practices, practicing at the track or on the trails in the area, and being able to use these watches on a daily basis will give us the opportunity to work on a number of aspects of training that we are unable to without proper timing. Having these watches available will be a huge help in this area.
