it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are just beginning their reading journeys, and nothing sparks their imagination more than a welcoming reading nook filled with great stories and cozy corners. With bright book bins, 2 wooden low bookshelves they can easily access, soft floor cushions, and a fun rug to gather on, my students will have a space that feels like a magical escape into the world of books.
To make our classroom library extra special, I’ve chosen The Day the Crayons Quit series—books filled with humor, heart, and creativity—and adorable crayon plushies to match!
These characters will help students connect emotionally to stories and inspire them to write and dream big.
