Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imagine my 3 and 4 year old students walking in on the first day of school and being able to see themselves and their families lining the walls of the classroom. Imagine how warm and comforted they will feel when they recognize some of the faces around them.
I have requested a printer and ink to print photos of the children and their families to use in the classroom.
We will also be able to make class books so that my students have an opportunity to see themselves in the books they are reading and see themselves as authors and creators in the world.
