Help me give my students the opportunity to let their style shine! We are looking to expand and organize our dapper day clothing storage, and increase the selections available for students in need.
Dapper Day has taken off at our school, and we want all students to be able to join in. The creation of two 3rd graders, Dapper Day is a day where the whole school is invited to join in dressing in their finest. Inspired by Max from Fuller House, students wear suits, ties, and their best dresses. It started small, and has grown. Students and staff have embraced the day, and we all look forward to it. Students have identified that dressing up leads to them getting compliments and feeling good about themselves. To see the kids beam and show off their style has brought joy to our whole community
Every child deserves to feel that sense of pride in their style, and we want to make that happen!
We have started to collect dress clothes to ensure that all students have access to collared shirts, ties, and dresses. Our collection is growing, but we want to make sure a variety of sizes and styles are available, and nobody is ever excluded. We also need to organize the Dapper Day outfits. We are hoping to create a small Dapper Day space where students can come selected from neatly organized dress clothes. We are hoping that we can fundraise the creation of this space and expand our offering of dress clothes.
