My Project
On of my favorite instrument songs to teach to preschoolers is called "When The Band Comes Marching In" by Super Simple Songs. It is so fun to allow children to select which instrument they would like to play, and then take turns switching instruments for the duration of the song. The song mentioned above is only one of many, many activities that could be done in a preschool classroom with instruments. We have one little problem though - we don't have instruments in our classroom!
My amazing little learners love to learn new things and explore all kinds of early childhood materials.
I would love to have a selection of new instruments that children would be able to choose from and learn how to play. Maybe an interest in music could become a catalyst for children to continue to pursue music as they move on to middle and high school!
