This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is my second year in my own pre-k classroom and I have been using one plastic bin to hold books in a quiet area, as my classroom library. My classroom did not come with a library and my students definitely deserve one.
Classroom libraries are important for children to explore on their own and feel the magic of books and reading.
With these bins, social emotional learning books, and bookshelf I can help make a library center for my students. I want my students to be eager to practice pre-reading and share with their peers.
