This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most elementary students do not have a clear idea of what they want to be when they grow up. It is often based on what they see on television or possibly what their parents do for a living.

How amazing would it be to begin career exploration early and expose students to careers, one project at a time?

These materials, such as Composition Notebooks, Community Helper Dress Up Vest Career Costumes, and 5-Minute 21st Century Job Skills Activities, will help to engage students and will go along with projects facilitated all year long.

I am excited to see what careers students are exposed to, people they are introduced to, and differences made in their lives because they have gained a connection to their future.
