This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am newer to the teaching world and have lots of standard chairs in my classroom. I teach students from Kindergarten to 6th grade and have noticed, at all grade levels, students are wiggly. I have several students who attempt to turn their standard classroom chair into a wobble/rocking chair.

I would love to see my students defeat gravity and give them the gift of safely wiggling in their seats with the wobble chairs requested.

I have noticed that students tend to be better learners when they can wiggle and work at the same time. I would be immensely thankful for any assistance in bringing this project to fruition.
