Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our specialized preschool classroom is full of bright, curious children who love to explore the world around them. Many of our students face mobility challenges, and some require wheelchairs due to fall risks or physical disabilities. Because our school district is often understaffed, we cannot always provide one adult for each wheelchair when going outside. This limits our students’ opportunities to safely experience outdoor learning and community walks.
With a 6-seat stroller, we can bring all of our preschoolers outside together, ensuring everyone has equal access to sunshine, fresh air, and hands-on learning.
This stroller will make it possible for our students with mobility issues to safely join their peers on outdoor adventures, rather than staying behind.
Outdoor time is more than play—it supports sensory development, social interaction, and overall well-being. Every child deserves to feel included, safe, and part of the group. With your help, we can remove barriers and open the door to new experiences for our little learners.
Your generosity will put smiles on faces, create lasting memories, and ensure that all of our children—no matter their physical abilities—can share in the joy of exploring the world together.
