Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each year we have a school wide celebration commemorating all the hard work and dedication it took to successfully complete a whole year of school and each year we create original art pieces to wear. Each child chooses colors and objects to paint. draw and add to their t-shirts to wear as part of their eccentric style!
This year I wanted us to add something special, with a little more pizzazz and what better way to do that then with Iron on Patches, not only on our T-shirts, but socks and hats too!
These ONE-OF-A-KIND wearable art ensembles will really allow our students to stand out and show how creative they really are! They get to choose not only the colors, but patterns too and the art they create / make, they can wear all Summer and then some. The wearable art will be commemorative pieces that epitomizes WE MADE IT THROUGH THE YEAR AND NOW WE CAN CELEBRATE!
The students can be proud of the efforts they put into creating something of their very own by their own little hands.
