Help me give my students an opportunity to appreciate and discover the world by using their five senses. Having a sand/water table inside our classroom, can have endless sensory experiences and out-of-the box learning!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This class is a group of happy, energetic and enthusiastic learners that love to learn and explore the world around them! Discovering new things beyond what our lessons are about, is what inspired me to help provide experiences in which they can utilize their inner super powers-their FIVE SENSES. Having an indoor sand/water table and sensory bins can enable a hands-on approach towards their learning. By using their five senses, the children will get to see, touch, hear, taste and smell everyday objects/materials that will help them to discover and understand their environment.
This will be a great opportunity to go beyond sand and water, where the children can have experiences with soil, whipped cream, moss, marbles, the list is endless.
I can't wait to see the children unleash their inner super powers!
