My favorite part about teaching science is the way students enter the classroom, eager to experiment with hands-on activities and engage in their learning.
With your donations, students will have access to proper balance scales, and have the opportunity to test and measure many different substances at many grade levels!
The scales I have selected have a much larger plate than the pocket scales
the students currently use. Larger plates allow the students to better measure substances, such as matter in different states to see if the mass remains the same as a solid, liquid, or gas. The scales will be used extensively in the areas of chemistry and life science.
