This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you prefer games in a box, stored in a closet or games readily available to play with just using your eyes and becoming visually stimulated by what is inside a clear storage bin?
I teach thirteen first and second students in a self contained class.
We are a Title One school and we are beginning to incorporate STEM concepts to early childhood including small classes. My students' delays range from learning disabilities to autism. They learn using different modalities and having these bins to house our new games, will allow them to learn and have fun at the same time.
My Project
We will use the bins to store our new STEM games and other games currently housed in our supply closet. Having the games in close proximity to the students will allow them a different outlet to learn STEM concepts on their level, using fun games. We will use the sharpener to help keep our pencils sharpened to produce work that will allow others to see what they are learning.
Please help us get our bin project funded so my students will be able to be visually stimulated by the new STEM games we received.
Hopefully, they will be our engineers in the future.
