Take a walk into my classroom and you will see 19 of the most eager, intelligent, first graders you could ever imagine!
My students are curious, active, and always keep me on my toes!
They love learning and always give me their all. Most importantly we are a family and we always take care of each other. No matter the circumstances we know that we are better together! As their teacher I strive to make learning intentional but FUN! I want school to be the place to be - not the place kids have to be!
My Project
Learning the names of classmates is one of the first things we do in school because it is a major stepping stone towards building an inclusive classroom environment.
A person's name tells a story of their history and culture.
I want my students to know that they are important, valued, and part of a community.
The Silhouette Pink Cameo 3 and vinyl packages will allow me to create materials and decorate my classroom to celebrate the diversity of my students in the most basic but complex way - using their names! In order to build relationships and enhance our classroom climate I will use this machine to create student name labels for desks, cubbies, t-shirts for field trips, and classroom displays.
