What is a printer without ink? The young writers in my class are eager to learn the writing process but I see the excitement on their faces when they get to share their writing having a publishing party. Our publishing parties are events that celebrate the students writing and we invite our local assembly leaders, district leaders, and local community members. This project will enhance the writing process because the students know that when they are done with a writing unit, a publishing party follows. The students love to have a publishing party, not only do they wear hats/crowns and are asked about themselves and their writing, they get snacks. And who doesn’t love that!
