My students need a wirelsss weather station, and some weather activities! Our urban elementary population is 85% poverty & very out of touch with natural forces .
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. O.'s classroom raised $208

My Students
My students would LOVE to have a weather station where we could collect data, work with the activity board and go outside. Our last one was ruined by a tree branch falIing. I do a "wild weather" unit every year & all the grades love seeing storms, twisters, and other crazy weather.
My students (from all over the world) would be be really excited to see a new, functional weather station in our library!
Our science teacher loved having access to our previous station when it was operational. We can collect and display all kinds of weather information on seasons, storms, and the changing weather on a daily basis.
My Project
Please help us replace our broken weather station and get our kids excited about nature! Many kids today are so disconnected from the outdoors and never look up at the sky. The wireless weather station can be used to see the current weather. The weather tracker board can be changed daily, and we will love the using the anemometer outdoors!
Our elementary population of K- 6th grade students is at the 85% poverty level.
We have many students from all over the world. Our school and PTA has no extra funds to cover any of these kinds of items. Please help our students see into the past and future with weather. It will inspire some budding weather scientists I hope! Whatever the weather, there's always something going on out there!
More than half of students from low‑income households
